Who
we are?
Public health
The impact of sporting activity on our physical and mental health needs no further demonstration. We are proud to contribute to this dynamic by adapting the facilities we create or transform to the expectations of users and local practices. It’s an invitation to think differently about the development and management of public spaces, while addressing the challenges of climate, well-being and health.
Terroir & sustainability
Terroir – a uniquely French term – encompasses the materials, people, nature and history of a region. All of which must be integrated into the project. The sociology, ecology, activity and engineering of this terroir are embedded into our projects by Osmose’s diverse team of experts. Accustomed to collaborating and exchanging viewpoints, we, as designers, constantly work with our engineering colleagues – key actors in territorial development.
End user’s vision
Every space has multiple facets and functions. At Osmose, spaces are co-designed from various perspectives, always considering the end-user’s vision. We engage all project stakeholders-technicians, tradespeople, citizens and elected officials. This chain of users experiences public spaces differently and knows best what their needs are. It’s our job to formalize and enhance their living spaces.
Project management culture
Over the past 30 years, Osmose has developed genuine expertise, a culture of project management, and supported designers in landscape techniques, ecology, sports and leisure spaces, becoming a leader in these industries.
Cross perspectives
Within Osmose, projects are co-developed. The agency has all the necessary skills for designing and overseeing outdoor spaces: landscape architects, civil engineers and ecologists. The hierarchy of ideas, concepts and expertise is eliminated. We prioritize co-production and firmly believe that cross-perspectives enhance the quality of space planning and engineering.
Integrated design process
Our diverse expertise and sensitivities enable us to foster open discussions and avoid narrow approaches. This is where the Integrated Design Process emerges, with the project leader serving as the pilot of an interdisciplinary internal team.
